Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival
The Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival has been rated by the New York Post as one of the world’s leading local food events. We’re heading to the Hove Lawns on the Brighton seafront on Good Friday 18th and Saturday 19th April 2014 to offer free tutored tastings of Bourgogne Wines, Parma Ham, Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, Port and Douro Wines. There will also be a special tasting presentation hosted by wine expert, TV presenter and newspaper columnist Olly Smith at 2pm on Saturday 19th April. New for 2014, Discover the Origin and the Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival are hosting an exclusive wine matching supper event on Wednesday 16th April in the Ruinart room of Hotel du Vin, Brighton. BBC Good Food Show Summer

We’ll be at the ‘foodie event of the season’ from 12th-15th June 2014 at the NEC in Birmingham. Indulge in food and wine with real history and provenance with us at stand F572, as we give out samples of Bourgogne Wines, Parma Ham, Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, Port and Douro Wines. Wine writer, columnist and presenter Susy Atkins will be joining us to host interactive pairing sessions on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th June. Susy will offer advice for recognising products bearing the PDO kitemark of quality, as well as providing delicious pairing tips to use at home. The NEC, Birmingham, West Midlands, B40 1NT

Taste of London

Taste of London brings a world of foodie fun to Regent’s Park for four days of al fresco eating, drinking and entertainment in the sunshine from 18th to 22nd June 2014. We’ll be joining the summertime celebration of food and drink with celebrity wine expert Oz Clarke and our fantastic team of stand educators. Pop by for a chilled glass of Port, Bourgogne or Douro Wine accompanied by a succulent sample of sweet Parma Ham or delicate yet distinctive Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese. Bristol Foodies Festival

Discover the Origin will be at Bristol Foodies Festival, where Britain’s well-known food and wine expert, Charles Metcalfe, will unveil the secrets of these centuries-old products on the show’s prime location on Bristol Harbourside. Come to our stand between Friday 11th and Sunday 13th July 2014 and try these European delicacies. Our experts will also be providing pairing suggestions for Parma Ham and Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, as well as suggesting dishes which are complemented by fine wines from Bourgogne and the Douro Valley in Portugal. Edinburgh Foodies Festival

With its eclectic mix of fine food outlets, Edinburgh Foodies Festival is a mecca for food and drink enthusiasts from Scotland’s capital. Discover the Origin will be showcasing Bourgogne Wines, Parma Ham, Douro Wines, Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese and Port from Saturday 9th to Monday 11th August 2014, providing insider tips to take back to your own kitchen. Oxford Foodies Festival

Oxford Foodies Festival, taking place on Saturday 23rd to Monday 25th August 2014, will mark the final food and drink festival of the summer for Discover the Origin. Come and join one of our daily Masterclasses hosted by one of Britain’s best known food and wine expert, Charles Metcalfe. Charles will be delving into the production techniques passed down through generations of experts while you sample slices of Parma Ham and shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese and sip on Port or wines from the Douro Valley and Bourgogne.
